On Saturday, December 6, 2025 members of Kittan Lodge #364 and Halfmoon Lodge #28 gathered at the Christ Church United Methodist in Glens Falls, NY to complete the final steps in an almost 10 month long process to see the two lodges merge into one new lodge. After beging the day with some fellowship involovning a Ginger Bread house competition, all members present we treated to an excellent meal, in our first opportunity to break bread together.
After lunch, the youth members were called to order to begin the business of ratifying the by-laws of the new lodge. After all present had a chance to review the new by-laws and ask questions, the vote was taken to approve the by-laws of Kittan Lodge #19. The vote was overwhelmingly in favor of the by-laws, and with that a new Order of the Lodge was formed.
The day concluded with discussion on the inagural lodge flap, with good progress being made toward a final design and with the election of the first slate of lodge officers for KITTAN LODGE #19.
